We've talked a lot about our co-op welding program with the local school district. Well, the head of the welding program there hosted a contest for women welders all across the state. From all over Kentucky, 38 young women came to compete against each other in a welding competition. "There's nothing like it anywhere," David McCoy, the welding teacher at PRP told Milt.

It's projects like this that let us know we are doing good things with our co-op programs. Five of the 25 women welders in the PRP program are working full-time with WireCrafters in our shop. And McCoy thinks that number will continue to grow each year of the program. We will see you next time on another episode of Mondays With Milt.
