Wire Mesh Options | Mondays With Milt
Milt walks you through our different wire mesh options.
Standard Gray Wire Mesh Options
Welcome to another episode of Mondays With Milt. Hey, I'm back on the production floor again. And I always try to walk around and see what's going on every day. I've been at WireCrafters for just over 37 years. That's a long time. And I would say that probably in the early days 95% of what we did was gray two-by-one rectangular mesh. What you're seeing right here. It's that same mesh we've had since day one. As I walk through here today I'm looking at what's going to be shipping.
Other Panels Options
So next in line we've got some sheet metal panels obviously painted blue. It's a stock color that we have. We come back here and we've got a 3/4" square mesh. Very tight mesh. Must be some high security. Another standard color, the yellow. Now come back a little bit further, and I see our welded wire. And this is a two by one welded wire in a black standard color finish. And then back a little further, and all of these shipments are going out today. We've got the heavy six-gauge wire. So this is probably going to be a government job. They like the real heavy wire in a two-inch square mesh with the grey paint.
Conclusion
So there you have it. In one day walking through here I see four different paint colors, sheet metal, 3 different meshes, and that's what we do here at WireCrafters. We've got a lot of different applications. And we can do a lot of different things. If we can help you, go to our website. wirecrafters.com And we'll see you next week on another episode of Mondays With Milt.
