Custom Enclosures for a Wildlife Education Facility
Project Overview:
Housing birds of prey requires a careful balance of security, visibility, and airflow. When the Wildlife Science Center expanded its raptor enclosures, the organization needed a solution that would provide safe containment without restricting the open-air environment essential to the birds' well-being. Cisco-Eagle selected WireCrafters to help create durable enclosure fronts that support both the needs of the animals and the long-term goals of the facility.
Customer Description
The Wildlife Science Center needed a solution for a series of raptor enclosures that would provide security while supporting the health and well-being of the birds. The facility required open-air, see-through fronts for eighteen 10' x 12' rooms to promote airflow and create an environment better suited for housing raptors. Traditional solid barriers would have restricted ventilation and visibility, making them unsuitable for the application. The project called for a durable enclosure system that could safely contain the birds while allowing fresh air to circulate freely throughout each habitat.
