Military Storage Locker | Mondays With Milt
Here at WireCrafters, we want to make sure every order that goes out is quality. To do this, we have a Design Validation area in the shop. We put together a product before it ships to make sure everything fits together right. This also assures that the job was welded and measured correctly. This week, a Military Storage Locker was set up in the DV area. Learn more about this particular job by watching the episode of Mondays With Milt below.
Military Storage Locker Transcript
Welcome to another episode of Mondays With Milt. Now today I'm in the DV area, that's where it's design validation. So we're checking out a product here that we're going to be sending to a military base. What they wanted was just a wire partition with you can see these shelves in it and they're just going to store things. They're not going to put any doors on the the front of these lockers. But they bought a handful of these for storage.
How it's Built
So it's our standard heavy 10 gauge, 2 inch square welded mesh. We weld it into our angle frame. And then we got the 16 gauge galvanized sheet metal shelves. And we got the capabilities here where we can laser out the shelf. We can laser the holes in it so that it can get bolted in. And then we take it over to the press brake and we can make the bends in it as we need to. So we do a lot of custom fabrication on orders like this.
So that's what we got today. If you're out there selling to the military give us a call. They've got a lot of applications we can help you with. Or go to our website, wirecrafters.com. Hit the resource tab at the top and everything opens up for you. We'll see you next week on another episode of Mondays With Milt.
