Mechanical Services in New England needed a solution to improve inventory management and to decrease asset shrinkage and loss.
They designated some space under their new mezzanine to store high-value items, mostly consisting of trade tools and some higher-value parts. WireCrafters' wire partitions were designed into a caged space where they could store inventory with a system for checking in and checking out tools and equipment.
Within the mezzanine space, shelving was also installed to support this need. The end-user and the dealer envisioned a sliding door to provide wide access and a keyed lock. WireCrafters was able to provide all this and more.
Mechanical Services achieved better inventory management through this space and system. It also offered them access control for inventory protection and theft prevention. Consequently, this means increased accountability for employees.
