This case study highlights WireCrafters’ ability to meet DEA cage standards and maintain a grower’s original storage setup.
Customer Description
The customer needed to upgrade their existing storage setup to meet DEA cage standards. The customer's existing packaging and handling room for their cannabis products was standard sheetrock construction with standard hollow metal swing doors. Rather than go out of their budget’s scope to recreate their existing setup from scratch, the customer worked with 2 River Supply, LLC, and WireCrafters to develop a solution to meet their needs.
Customer Solution
Wire mesh partition was installed in front of the four walls of the existing room and tight against the ceiling above. In front of the two existing swing doors to the room, we installed sliding gates with self-closing capabilities. Type 840 wire mesh partition product was used to secure the existing sheetrock wall constructed room to be used for cannabis handling and packaging. Thus meeting both the needs of the customer and DEA cage standards.
