Mondays With Milt Final Countdown: Episode 16
This week on Mondays With Milt, the WireCrafters team heads out of the shop and into the great outdoors! We spent the day volunteering at Adventure Camp, held at Camp Crooked Creek—a beautiful 1,100-acre Scout reservation in Kentucky.
Adventure Camp is a special event that happens twice a year and serves more than 1,200 children with special needs from surrounding school districts. The camp allows these students to experience a full day of outdoor fun, including canoeing, fishing, archery, arts and crafts, pontoon boat rides, and more.
WireCrafters employees volunteered at activity stations all over camp, working alongside other corporate partners like UPS and Amazon to help create a memorable experience for the kids. From helping on the archery range to guiding crafts and games, our team was all in.
John Senn, Director of Adventure Camp, shares how impactful community support is to the success of this event and how companies like ours can make a real difference by showing up and serving.
