Project Overview:
When Swisslog expanded its facility, the new layout introduced a safety concern that needed to be addressed as part of the upgrade. Pallet racking was installed directly in front of an active packaging area, placing employees in proximity to stored materials. That change required a solution that could protect workers without interrupting workflow. Working with Associates Material Handling, WireCrafters provided a system that adds protection and integrates cleanly with the new racking setup.

Swisslog expanded its facility, which required new pallet racking to be installed directly in front of an active packaging area. This layout created a safety concern for employees working behind the rack, as falling materials could pose an injury risk.
