Customer Description
The chef store needed to protect employees working near an automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS). Empty bins moved through a bin stacker before returning to the system, creating a pinch point around moving equipment. Without proper guarding, employees could reach into the machine to clear a jam or restart the process. Warehouse Equipment Contractors installed a machine guarding solution with the correct interlocks to eliminate that risk. The system now allows employees to safely access the equipment for maintenance or repairs while preventing entry during normal operation. This solution keeps employees safe and helps the automated process continue running efficiently.
