Customer Description
To address the critical safety concern of items falling from high storage areas, WireCrafters provided its RackBack® Safety Panels for installation on 189 bays of racking. The end user needed a solution that would effectively prevent products from falling from the top 18 feet onto roller racks or active aisleways below, posing a risk to both inventory and personnel. After thorough research comparing RackBack® to netting, the customer determined that while netting offered a slightly lower cost, it primarily functioned as a catch system rather than a true fall prevention solution. The modular design of RackBack® panels, which attach directly to rack uprights, provided a key advantage – allowing the end user to reconfigure their racking system as needed without sacrificing safety.
