Customer Description
Hunter Douglas serves customers through mail order, catalog, and online sales and provides a convenient customer pickup option at their Salt Lake City facility. The pickup desk, however, became a high-traffic area where vendors, customers, and other visitors frequently entered, creating potential security and safety risks. When the desk was unmanned, individuals could easily bypass it and gain unauthorized access to the plant floor, compromising operations and safety. To address this, Hunter Douglas needed a straightforward yet effective solution to ensure that all visitors remained in the designated waiting area and that the manufacturing facility remained secure from unauthorized entry.
