Project Overview:
Letco recently partnered with WireCrafters to deliver a durable and secure wire partition solution for the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing Plant in Decatur, Alabama. With the facility’s high-paced automotive production, the customer needed a reliable way to enhance security and organization without disrupting workflow. Our wire partitions provided the perfect solution, offering a strong, customizable system that met the plant’s specific needs while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Customer Description
The Mazda plant needed a versatile and secure storage solution to protect high-value inventory while ensuring efficient distribution of large and small items. Their challenge was finding a system seamlessly integrating multiple security and accessibility features within one enclosure. The result was a massive wire cage combining several WireCrafters products into a comprehensive application. This custom-built enclosure featured RackBack® Pallet Rack panels, distribution lockers, a sliding door, a tunnel door, a Dutch door, and a service window, each serving a specific purpose. The maintenance supervisor could distribute smaller items through the Dutch door and distribution lockers. At the same time, more extensive equipment and materials could be easily moved in and out using the sliding or tunnel doors when necessary. This innovation setup provided security and operational efficiency, meeting the plant’s needs.
