A safe production floor requires clear separation between employees and moving equipment. Victoriaville Company wanted to strengthen safety around a busy production line while keeping the area visible and easy to manage. Handling Concepts partnered with WireCrafters to provide a RapidGuard® II machine guarding system that created a safer work zone without limiting daily operations. The modular design also gave the customer room to adapt the system as production needs change.
Customer Description
Victoriaville Company identified a safety risk along one of its production lines. Employees could walk too close to moving equipment, including exposed rollers and conveyors. Floor striping marked the area, but the company wanted a strong physical barrier to improve protection. Handling Concepts recommended a machine guarding system that would help keep employees away from hazardous areas and support OSHA requirements. The solution also needed to maintain clear visibility for operators and supervisors. A modular design would allow for quick installation and provide the flexibility to make changes as production needs evolve.
