Project Overview:
Colocation environments require secure, well-defined spaces to protect critical equipment while supporting future growth. At a Texas-based facility, the need for a large server cage became a key part of expanding infrastructure and maintaining control over sensitive assets. Customer Description
The colocation facility in Texas needed a large, secure server cage to protect critical equipment in its data center. The project called for a solution that could clearly define a dedicated server space while meeting the security standards expected in colocation operations. U.S. Cage, a fast-growing provider of industrial wire partitions and cages led by President Kevin Trimble, brought strong loss-prevention experience that aligned well with the facility's needs. The team required a substantial enclosure measuring 66 feet long by 42 feet wide, built with ½-inch-square 12-gauge woven wire and finished with a black powder coat for durability and a clean appearance. The success of this installation has already led to plans for additional server cages as the facility continues to expand.
