Customer Description
The bottling manufacturer faced a critical safety challenge in their facility due to an electrified crane runway running parallel to a mezzanine. The customer needed a durable wire panel system to serve as a safety barrier to prevent personnel from accidentally coming into contact with the crane. However, the installation was complicated by large control panels and other equipment positioned along the edge of the mezzanine, making a standard barrier placement impossible. To overcome these obstacles, WireCrafters designed a custom post and panel attachment system utilizing offset brackets, allowing the wire panels to be positioned six inches beyond the mezzanine’s edge. This innovative approach ensured a continuous safety barrier without interfering with existing equipment, effectively protecting employees while maintaining operational efficiency.
