Custom Cage Solution for a Major Automotive Manufacturer
Project Overview:
WireCrafters recently partnered with Vallen to deliver a custom wire partition solution for a major Japanese automobile manufacturer operating a large-scale facility in the Southeast. With more than five million square feet under roof, the plant’s on-site Vallen team required a secure, oversized enclosure that would restrict visibility from surrounding areas while integrating seamlessly into the existing operation. The solution also called for expansive sliding doors equipped with electric openers to support efficient access within the high-traffic manufacturing environment, resulting in a tailored application that balanced security, functionality, and scale.
Customer Description
Inside the facility, Vallen’s team was challenged with creating a controlled, enclosed area large enough to support ongoing operations while limiting visibility from the surrounding plant floor. Standard guarding solutions were not sufficient for the size or functional requirements of the space, particularly given the need for wide openings to accommodate frequent movement of equipment and materials. In addition, the area required powered access points, making manually operated doors impractical. To meet these needs, the application called for an expansive WireCrafters wire partition cage with automatic sliding doors, along with nylon blackout curtains supplied by Vallen to effectively block sightlines and enhance privacy within the enclosure.
