Creating Custom Storefronts Inside Artegon Marketplace
Project Overview:
WireCrafters recently partnered with Genesis Material Handling to deliver a customized wire partition solution for Artegon Marketplace in Orlando, Florida. Known as a vibrant shopping and entertainment destination, Artegon required a secure and flexible storage and security solution to support its diverse tenant needs. By collaborating with Genesis Material Handling, WireCrafters provided a durable and efficient wire partition application that met both the functional requirements of the facility and the high standards of safety and security.
Customer Description
The primary challenge at Artegon Marketplace was security. With dozens of individual vendors operating under one roof, the facility needed a way to create secure retail spaces that allowed each business to operate independently while maintaining peace of mind after hours. WireCrafters’ storage cages provided the perfect solution, transforming open floor space into enclosed storefronts of varying sizes and shapes. Vendors could sell their products during business hours and then lock them up safely - without the hassle of packing up inventory each day. While the marketplace itself was only open for a few years, a common occurrence along Orlando’s dynamic International Drive, the WireCrafters application stood out as a unique and highly effective solution that served the needs of its many retailers exceptionally well.

Inspired by the world-renowned markets like Pike Place and Faneuil Hall, Artegon delivered a vibrant indoor shopping and entertainment experience until its closure in 2017. While the original marketplace is no longer in operation, the project remains a testament to WireCrafters’ unmatched ability to support innovative retail concepts with custom, secure, and reliable solutions.
