Project Overview:
WireCrafters partnered with dealer Adaptec Solutions to deliver a secure wire partition system for an unnamed pharmaceutical company. The project combined our 840 style wire mesh with welded wire partitions, creating a customized solution that incorporated several elements of a DEA cage while not requiring full compliance. This hybrid approach enabled the facility to achieve enhanced security and controlled access to sensitive areas, while also maintaining the flexibility and cost efficiency required for their specific operational needs.
Customer Description
This well-known pharmaceutical manufacturer faced a critical need to properly segregate “rejected items” within their warehouse, ensuring compliance and maintaining the integrity of their supply chain. To address this, the company required a dedicated secure space known as the “Reject Cage” where these items could be sequestered before being processed out of the system. WireCrafters’ 840 style wire partition system, combined with welded wire panels, provided the perfect solution by creating a strong, visible, and secure enclosure.
