Welcome to another episode of Mondays With Milt. Today, we’ve got something exciting going on: we’re going to be testing our GuardRail. So what we have to prove is that we can have a 10,000-pound load come directly at our GuardRail at four miles per hour. Now, that’s going to be pretty cool.

So here in a moment, we’re going to get it going and I’m going to get out of the way because I don’t want to be a part of that 10,000-pound crash. Let’s see what happens.

*cue serious music*

3... 2... 1... Go!

Well, we had a successful run here at our GuardRail. Qe actually had 10,250 pounds on the fork truck. We were going 4.5 miles per hour. We hit this GuardRail, and as you can see, it held up great. We’ve got 4 anchors (3/4” x 4-1/2” wedge anchors) that held up well in the concrete. The rails are still attached to the post.
